Political science is the practice of the analysis of a political system and the way they are governed. Political science covers who is able to gain the victory in their political pursuits. It is also close attention paid to the detail as to when that victory is obtained, and exactly how it had came to fruition. Political science is the educational process that studies the way humans behave in regards to their political advancements in society. Political theory is a type of government that studies government, politics, justice, liberty, property, rights, and the law. It delves into the way that the law is enforced. Political theory takes a look into what the government should be entitled to do. Political theory also touches upon what the people are responsible for doing. Political theory measures to what degree are the people entitled to succumb to the government. It speaks about what, if any, obligations should they have to meet placed on them by the government. It evaluates to what extent are the people entitled to give to the government. The theory practice even goes on to look into the different aspects of the economy, such as property.
2. Another aspect that as associated with political science is public policy. Public policy is the way in which a government handles a particular issue or problem. Whether they choose to outright ignore the issue or enforce tumultuous regulations, the no action or reaction in regard to that issue is public policy. Public policy is often measured in political science because it defines the way that the governing body chooses to formulate their laws. There are patterns detected as to how they choose to regulate society.
3. An additional branch of political science is also comparative politics. Comparative politics is the comparison of different political bodies. It compares those governing bodies that are alike, as well as those that are not alike. It is when the policies of other nations are compared to one another. There is an analysis that is conducted that breaks down the similarities and the unique distinctions. Comparative politics can be measured against two political bodies or be a huge comparison among several different nations.
